James Holmes of Brian Barber Associates was appointed by Reve Developments Ltd to provide planning advice in relation to the development of a derelict industrial site in Hackney E5.

Through a detailed Planning Statement and negotiation with officers, BBA were able to overcome all of the Council's objections, including the loss of an employment site, the high density of the development and the mix of units provided.

Hackney Council granted planning permission and Reve Developments successfully sold the site. The planning enhancement resulted in a value uplift of 38% on the original purchase price of the land. The site is currently being built out and is due for completion in summer 2012.
